By 1965 we are now fully submerged into don't-give-a-fuck territory with both Sinatra and Martin. Marriage on the Rocks is a slight if not bizarre offering: Sinatra is a too-busy-with-work business man and Deborah Kerr is his well kept housewife who's ready to divorce him on the grounds of "sheer boredom." Dean Martin plays the close family friend / bachelor-deluxe who ends up having to entertain Kerr while Sinatra is too busy to notice she's alive. Meanwhile Sinatra and Kerr's children (one of which is played by Nancy Sinatra) are almost rooting for a divorce so they can get showered in tons of presents and permission to do whatever they want. Yay, divorce!
