Installing mods in Skyrim is normally done in one of three ways: through Bethesda's in-game Modding platform, a third-party mod manager, or manually. While Ordinator can be downloaded in-game (and therefore can be used on consoles) it has caused issues for some players who have upgraded to Skyrim Anniversary Edition.

Installing the Ordinator mod can be done through Skyrim Special Edition's mod menu, the Skyrim Nexus Mod Manager, or manually. It can be installed with other third-party mod managers like Wyre Bash or TESMM, but the Nexus tends to be the most straightforward of these popular options.

It's typically not a good idea to install mods manually as it can mess with your existing files with very few ways to fully uninstall. Even if you use a barebones mod manager, it's still better than having to track down files that aren't working on your own.

4. Once you have finished downloading mods - you can see everything you've installed in 'My Library' at the top of the page - go back to the Main Menu by pressing Back. The mod selection and data files will reload, and you can load a save with the mods installed.

Skyrim script extender is a tool used to cross the limits of what would normally be possible for Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition mods. These patches are built upon the new scripting features and therefore require you to have SKSE installed before you can use them.

SKSE and SKSE64 are easy to set up. This guide should teach you how to install Skyrim Script Extender for Skyrim LE & Skyrim SE (Depending on the version that you play) so you can use essential mods like SkyUI and RaceMenu.

You can find the files for both versions on the SKSE website. Look for the one that matches the version of your game (Current classic build for Original Skyrim and Skyrim SE build for Skyrim special edition).

Among the most famous graphical mods for Skyrim are the ENBseries. Real Vision produces some absolutely tremendous photorealistic effects, especially when combined with a number of other mods available from either the Steam Workshop or Skyrim Nexus. Take a look at the video above to see the mod in action. Just remember to draw breath every once in a while.

In addition to installing Requiem like an ordinary mod, you will also need to generate a SkyProc patch for your personal mod-setup. A SkyProc patch is a Skyrim plugin which is generated automatically by predefined rules from the content found in your load order. As a simple example, one function of our SkyProc patcher is to bring the weapon damage and armor ratings from your favorite weapon and armor mods to Requiem's level.

If this is your first time you're installing Requiem, we strongly recommend you to start with a small load order. Requiem works quite different than the base game and you should get to know our mod the way it was intended to be at first. You should avoid using additional combat or gameplay changing mods for your first Requiem run. (Graphics improvements are of course fine.) Once you have familiarized yourself with Requiem, you can expand your load order to customize the experience to your preferences.

Mod Organizer (MO) is an open-source program designed to simplify the installation and management of mods and modding tools for beginners and experts alike. It relies on a virtual file system (VFS) to deploy mods during runtime, which preserves the integrity of all assets in the game's 'real' file-system. This makes enabling and disabling mods very simple and clean and without potential for breaking other mods or the game itself. 2ff7e9595c
